Presidential Dollar Coins

This section features the Presidential Dollar Coin Designs as they are released by the United States Mint. Images are released by the US mint several months before the coins are minted. (Check back often to see upcoming releases.) Some pictures will contain early "artist renditions".

Each Presidential Dollar coin features a head portrait of a President on the obverse (front). The president's name will appear above his portrait. The order of his presidency (example- 1st President) along with the years he served as president will be recorded below his image.

The reverse (back) will feature the top portion of the Statue of Liberty. Each president coin's reverses (backs) will have the same design. Around the outer rim will be the words "United States of America". $1 will be in large type below Liberty's arm.
